Coronation Street Creator Dies

The man who gave us Coronation Street has passed away.
Tony Warren, whose name appears at the end of every episode, was aged 79.
He continued writing for the show until the late '70's.

What would life have been like without our regular viewing of the goings on in the street?
RIP

He certainly gave us a television show that's lasted.
I wonder if it will ever see its 100th birthday :o
Coronation Street is far more light hearted than EastEnders.
RIP

To think that he was in his early 20's when he started writing Coronation Street it makes you wonder.
He was obviously talented.

He originally wrote only one series to last about 12 episodes or so then it went on for decades.
Brilliant!
RIP.
